C70600 – CuNi 90/10 – CuNi10Fe1Mn
C70600 copper-nickel tubes, composed of approximately 90% copper and 10% nickel with small additions of iron and manganese, are engineered for excellent corrosion resistance and anti-biofouling performance in marine and industrial environments. The alloy provides strong resistance to impingement attack, seawater erosion, and stress corrosion cracking, making it highly suitable for high-velocity cooling systems.
Thanks to their durability and natural resistance to marine growth, CuNi 90/10 tubes are widely used in marine condensers, heat exchangers, and desalination plants, where reliable long-term performance is required under demanding thermal and chemical conditions.
Applications
C70600 copper-nickel tubes are commonly used in:
- Marine and offshore heat exchangers, condensers, and cooling systems
- Desalination plants and seawater treatment equipment
- Chemical and industrial piping handling aggressive media
- Power generation and shipboard thermal systems
- Ballast water systems and hull coolers
- Offshore oil & gas platforms and coastal refinery cooling systems
