Size and Tolerance

Sizes and tolerances for titanium tubes

Vulroc titanium tubes are available in a size range outside diameter 9.53-114 mm (3/8 – 4 in.) with wall thicknesses from 0.7 to 15 mm (0.0275 to 0.1968 in.).

  • OD = outside diameter
  • WT = wall thickness
Size OD, mm (in.) Tolerances OD, mm (in.) WT min wall %
< 25.4 (< 3/8) ±0.102 (0.004) +20/-0
25.4-38.1 (1-1 1/2) ±0.127 (0.005) +20/-0
  • Tolerances for OD < 15.9 or > 38.1 – or closer tolerances – after special agreement
  • Limitations for some ratios of OD/WT exist

Lengths: Titanium tubes are delivered in straight lengths up to 18.288 meters (60 ft). U-bent tubes are available on request.
